Our topic this week is the care and maintenance of botany life in the office.
When a client gifts you a lovely plant, most people like to keep plant's to pizzazz up their office.
Along with your new gift comes responsibility.
There are two common mistakes that we see as office cleaners.
#1) The plant is forgotten and no one waters it...eventually dying a rather sad death....
#2) Lack of communication between who has been caring for the plants...so your Peace Lilly becomes over watered and also results in it's untimely death.
You don't want to have your client visit to find the carcass of your dead plant lamenting in the corner...that doesn't exactly say appreciation, they may get the wrong impression.
Next time your client visits, show them you care by displaying a
healthy thriving plant.
Not only are you improving client relations, but also having a healthy plant in the office boost's morale and cleans the air.
Instead of risking the passing of your lovely gifted plant, we recommend that one person has strict assignment to water all of the plants in the office...since the office can be a very hectic busy time for workers, we also have another suggestion: Why not include the care of all office botany life in your cleaning contract?
A good cleaning company will be able to accommodate such requests,
leaving your gifted token of friendship well cared for during the duration of its stay.
