Furball Frenzy

January 10, 2018

Our household consists of 3 little kitten fur balls, and a non shedding Terrier.

With all this cuteness packed into one house, you can imagine the cleaning involved, especially since our kitties are long haired.

This past Christmas I decided to try out the Dyson v8 Animal, Cordless Vacuum.

The only comparison I can relate to: Is going from a beater broken down vehicle to a fully loaded, luxury Cadillac...

The hefty price tag is most definitely worth it...every part on the Dyson is built to last.

The quality and workmanship of each piece (attachments included) are equally built.

After unpackaging I immediately threw the Dyson to task.

I vacuumed my upstairs with my old vacuum, followed by my new Dyson.

Results: To my surprise my vacuum tank was full of cat fur and dust!

The HEPA filters and the powerful suction, pick up dust and fur that the standard vacuum's miss.

This machine packs a solid punch, its ridiculously easy to maneouver, The benefits of being cordless, and light weight makes the machine a dream to handle on the stairs.

The transition from carpet to hard wood flooring is a breeze, and the smaller attachments are useful on tackling the most stubborn fur on the couches and chair upholstery.

The battery last up to 40 mins, I vacuumed my whole house(2000 sq feet) -2 flights of stairs, the kitchen chairs, couches and chaise lounge.

Admittedly I was attempting to kill the battery, to my amazement the battery had two bars left.

I wanted to note how the Dyson has the easy access power down function to help your battery life last longer.

While I was whizzing through the house I was able to easily power up and down as needed.

I was so impressed by the brand, which I had never tried before...no other vacuum company has me this thrilled over their product, that I went out and bought the step down version (Dyson Animal V6)

This one has 20 minutes of life, and lower power setting's- Still a great price point and strong product.

I also wanted to mention, that I do not make any sales revenue from recommending Dyson.

I am excited over  the cordless technology and future developments that Dyson has to offer; they are leaps and bounds ahead of any other vacuum company.

If you are considering purchasing a vacuum for your home or office, I would recommend the Dyson Animal V8 or V6.
